Project Manager
Job Summary
Interested in entrepreneurship? Want to know the initiatives corporates are creating in order to collaborate with startups? This position is responsible for all project management functions related to global events. We are looking for someone who is interested in supporting the development of global business by facilitating communication between startups, corporates, and other external teams. You will also be responsible for logistical matters that are related to the event.
Qualifications
- Must be fluent in Japanese and English
Communicate expectations to project team members and stakeholders in a timely and effective fashion, continuously manage objectives, and hold project team members accountable for delivery.
Lead projects to execution and help project teams maintain an overall project vision with supporting project plans.
Refine project execution approach using project management standards and best practices.
Plan, schedule, and track project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential roadblocks, and devise contingency plans to ensure project success.
Develop and deliver status reports to management and other stakeholders including issue/action item logs, project status, and risks.
Build, develop, and grow business relationships to ensure project success and maintain both internal and external customer satisfaction.
Proficient in all MS Office products

Full Stack Engineer
Job Summary

We are looking for a full stack engineer to help us develop a platform that will enable us to share information exclusively known to locals to help travelers deepen their journies. We deal with complex questions at a global scale and will be looking for engineers who love to find solutions to increase the quality of our platform. The ideal candidate should have adequate experience in building large scale web applications while having the capacity to integrate it with the backend framework.
Qualifications
Experience in designing and implementing web applications with Javascript/HTML5/CSS and web services integration
Knowledge of best practices and methodologies for writing web application
Extensive experience with front end frameworks such as Rails
Understanding of design/UX principles and ability to participate in design discussions
Understanding of performance, data security, large scale deployment, continuous integration, unit testing
Ability to pick up, understand, and communicate complex concepts
Excellent communication skills and a strong desire to work with both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to drive product feature and requirement gathering with external customers
Speaks English, Japanese, or both
2-3 years of professional experience
