Hikaru Ishikawa, CEO
Born in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan

Hikaru Ishikawa is the CEO of STEIN. Born in Japan and growing up in Austria, he is passionate about bridging cultural gaps and promoting diversity. He leads the company’s vision, strategy, and growth. Prior to STEIN, he has worked for Japanese MP Mr. Shigeru Ishiba, MP Mr. Nobuo Kishi, Morgan Stanley, and INPEX Corporation. He holds a BA in Political Science from Waseda University.

Jeweliann Houlette, Director, Community Engagement
Born in Tokyo, Japan

Jeweliann Houlette joined STEIN after working at an all-women social enterprise in Northeastern Japan. She holds an A.B in English and a minor in East Asian Studies from Harvard University and is committed to precise and effective cross-cultural communication.

Satoshi Eguchi, Director, Business Development
Born in Fukushima, Japan

Before joining STEIN in 2018, Satoshi Eguchi served as manager and sommelier at a fine dining restaurant, wine bar, and specialty coffee store in Tokyo. He has detailed knowledge and interest in the regional cuisines of Japan, as well as of the world and is a certified sommelier (Japan Sommelier Association).

 
 
 

Boram Sim, Project Manager, Project Operations
Born in Seoul, Korea

Boram Sim moved to Tokyo from New York. Before joining STEIN in 2016, she served as an international marketing maven in the fashion industry, media groups, NGO, and tech ventures. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Centenary University and is currently enrolled in Waseda University to pursue her Masters in Business Administration.
